- What areas do you deliver to ?
- How long does set up take?
- Depending on the amount of inflatables to be put up, it takes roughly 30 mins to complete full set up – this includes doing the paper work needed at the beginning too
- How much space is needed for a bouncy castle ?
- Ideally, you need a 3ft gap each side of the castle, this leaves enough room to take it down. Behind the bouncy castle, you need a 5ft gap as this is where the fan has to go and must placed far enough away from the rear of the castle to prevent injury should someone fall from the rear wall. In front of the castle you need to make sure you have a clear area so children can get on and off safely.
- Are safety mats provided?
- Yes all our set ups including the soft plays come with safety mats. Once these are placed down we ask that they are not moved during hire
- Do I have to pay a deposit?
- We don’t require a deposit. Just full payment in cash before set up. If you wish to pay bank transfer this will be required 48 hours before the date of your hire. If the booking is cancelled then a payment maybe required. Please see our cancellation page for all information
- What surfaces can the inflatables be placed on ?
- Indoor we can place on any ground as we use sandbags to secure the inflatables down. Outside we can place directly onto grass only, we use pegs in this instance to ensure the inflatables are safely secured to the floor
- What happens if the weather is bad on my day of hire ?
- Most of our bouncy castles come with rain/sun covers and can therefore still be used in light showery conditions. Should there be heavy rain or strong winds the inflatable should not be used. Do however keep the inflatable inflated. This stops water from pooling inside and on the inflatable. It is recommended that the maximum wind speed inflatables can be operated outdoors is 24km/h. We keep regular checks on current weather conditions and if we feel that there is likely to be heavy rain or extreme wind on the day of your hire, we might contact you before delivery to discuss with you to see if you wish to go ahead with your booking. If we end up setting your bouncy castle up then it'll have to be paid for and we are unable to offer any refunds for bad weather. If the weather is poor on the day of your booking and we cancel the hire for safety and insurance reasons we will try our best to book you the same castle (if available), or another one of the same size, if available, on another day of your choice.
- How are the inflatables powered?
- We use an electic fan to power all of our inflatables. We will need access to an electrical supply within 25m of the desired location for the inflatable. If it is going to be further than this please let us know on booking. The fans do make noise and do need to be left on for the entire duration of the booking
- Do we have insurance?
- Yes. We have Public Liability insurance. This covers for when we are delivering/collecting the inflatable, setting up and pulling down, if the unfortunate were to happen and we should damage any of your property, you have peace of mind that you can claim off our insurance. Once we have left the hirer is then responsible for everything that happens and an adult needs to supervise at all times.
- Is there anything I need to do before hire?
- Please ensure that all areas and access to the desired area for the inflatable are clear. This needs to be through a side gate or back gate as we can not bring items through a house. Also ensure that there is access to a power point within 25m of the inflatable. Please see our delivery page for further information
- What is the duration of my hire?
- If outside we start deliveries at 9.30am so it will depend where you are on our route, but will be 11am latest. You will receive an email / text the evening before with your delivery time.
- For indoor hire you will need to book us 30mins before the party starts and then at the end time of the party for us to take down. Please allow this time when booking your venue
